Over the past several years as a Chicago wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege to photograph several Indian weddings, both in Chicago and elsewhere. These ceremonies are always incredible, and I always am thrilled to document the strong family customs, music and emotions they carry.
When photographing a traditional Indian wedding, it is invaluable to see the moments big and small, and to be there to capture them all. I love the feeling of documenting moments so full of emotion and action, and my photojournalistic, moment-driven wedding photography style is well suited to the beautiful, often complex, celebrations of Indian weddings.
My wedding day photography coverage is unlimited, and I’ve found this approach works especially well with Indian weddings. Often times just a few hours is not enough time to document all of the amazing moments of an Indian wedding — from the Baraat procession through the seven Pheras — and, of course, the food, the fashion, the dancing and the beautiful friends and family. When I have unlimited time on the day of your Indian wedding, I can be sure that as your Indian wedding photographer, I can capture every unique, loving moment.
To ensure the highest level of Indian wedding photography, I photograph with an amazing team of second shooters, so that every angle and every moment of your Indian wedding day is captured beautifully. All of my second shooters have an emotional, moment-driven style and experience shooting weddings of various cultures and customs. Together we can capture more moments — the light hitting the Varmalas just so, the perfect shot of husband reciting his vows — and give you with a larger and more comprehensive collection of photographs of your Indian wedding. If you have a large Indian wedding planned, or think that a second shooter is right for your Indian wedding photography, please let me know and I can give you more information when we chat.
