Kelli and Robert’s beautiful wedding story began with Kelli surrounded by her friends and family, a lovely wedding gown, and jewel-encrusted Jimmy Choo shoes. The mood was quiet and thoughtful. I photographed Kelli from the next room, with her reflection featured in a china hutch, and love the moment when her mother fixed her bridal veil minutes before leaving the Chicago Omni Hotel.
The grand wedding ceremony was held in Chicago’s historic Holy Name Cathedral, which truly is a sight to see. Located right off of State Street in Chicago, IL, this massive structure features beautiful stained glass archways and one of the most impressive church organs I’ve seen. Truly a lovely location for a wedding!
We ventured to Chicago’s Millennium Park for wedding party photographs, and the gardens at the Art Institute. With such a fun wedding party, we also had to have a pit stop at some of the food trucks!
Kelli and Robert’s wedding story ends at the Sculpture Garden in Bridgeport Art Center. These two endured very high temperatures, humidity, and an incredibly quick and sweaty bride and groom portrait session before escaping the heat for the cool loft space at the Center. The rest of the evening featured live country music, cocktails and dancing, which I love photographing!
Thank you, Kelli and Robert, for allowing me to document your story! If your marriage is anything like your wedding, I expect lots of laughter, dancing and much love! Enjoy your wedding photographs!
