When my clients wanted to dress up like Ferris Bueller and Sloane Peterson from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and asked me to document their Chicago engagement photographs inside the Art Institute, well, I couldn’t be happier or more thankful to have such fun, creative clients.
It was stealth shooting inside the museum, which was certainly made easier by telling the security guards “Ferris and Sloane! They’re getting married! Bueller??” Flash photography was still a big no-no, we just had to work around all the Chicago tourists and their iPhones. 🙂
We worked quickly at the Art Institute and after a wardrobe change, we finished our session in the gardens behind the building, a beautiful location with a terrific view of downtown Chicago.
Thank you, Minda and Garrett, for being so much fun to work with, and for planting quotes from the movie in my head for days! I can’t wait for your wedding next year at A New Leaf!
What a cute idea!
